The Fourth is Strong in This One Discovering a New Approach to Relaxation

As I continue creating calming ambient music for Dream CPR, I’m excited to share my latest discovery: the powerful effect of the musical interval known as the fourth. This simple yet profound element is the cornerstone of our March releases, offering a new dimension of relaxation and peace.

**Science Alert: The Healing Power of Fourths**

Scientific research has shown that musical intervals can profoundly impact our physical and emotional states. Fabien Maman discovered that listening to intervals like the fourth can balance brain activity and promote feelings of calmness and clarity (Sound Travels). Additionally, Pythagoras believed that musical intervals reflected the natural order of the universe, purifying the soul and restoring vitality.

A New Chapter in Sound Healing

While previous Dream CPR albums used various production and harmonic approaches, this focus on fourths represents a new frontier. I don’t just want to maintain our standard, but reach new levels of calm and mindfulness.

Your Turn:

Let the fourths flow through you.

1. Listen to Dream CPR V from beginning to end.

2. How did the sounds make you feel?

3. Share your experience in the comments or on social media

The journey is more fun when we do it together. Let’s explore the healing power of sound energy together.

The creation of Dream CPR Tracks is similar to a sculptor. I’ve taken sound FX, nature, streams, percussion, and measures away. There are faint motifs that occur in several tracks but more as a bridge to connect the sound than as a traditional melody.
